Twenty Two Palmer Street – Broadbent & May’s New Home
The serendipitous purchase of the house in Palmer Street was the result of a slight detour on a Sunday walk in our neighbouring ‘hood’ of Aro Valley.
The stucco modernist bungalow, designed by architect Charles Fearnley in the late 1940’s, needed only a few minor alterations to perfectly meet the brief for a premise that was light, close to the city, accessible, with a great vibe.
With a fully equipped kitchen, large comfortable sitting and viewing rooms overlooking the garden, our families really appreciate the opportunity to slow the pace down a bit and spend more time with their person.
By design, it’s ‘funeral homely’.
Getting There
Palmer Street, in Aro Valley, is a cul-de-sac on the left, off the top of Willis Street (when heading North). It generally has one-hour free parking spaces available on the left hand side of the street. The house is on the right, a black bungalow with a brick-red door.
